How to survive in ‘maths’ world

I like maths from childhood also I like to help others to solve their maths problems. Also, my favourate teacher who teaches mathematics subject. While studying from UKG to post graduation I notice that many students, my friends said, “I am not very good in maths”, “I don’t like maths class”, “I am bored in maths class”, I need help in maths homework. Although it is true that everyone is born with different skills and abilities, characteristics, it is also true that most people have ability to learn new things and acquire new skills that they never had before.

No one is born knowing how to play cricket, hoe to make tea. Many of us never acquire these skills. But after practicing these things we acquire these skills not perfect but atleast little. Most of us realize that we could acquire these skills if we were willing to do this work. Not everyone can be cricketer but everyone could learn how to play cricket with practice. It also happens with mathematics. At starting not everyone solve the quadratic equation, not everyone can discover a new mathematical theory but nearly everyone has potential to learn maths by doing practice of solving problems everyday atleast one hour in a day.

When someone tries to learn dancing for first time, they often confused or nervous. There is too much going on at head. What steps do first, song lyrics and many more things. Similarly, it happens in maths first class, too much is going on at once in maths class, different - different formulae, numbers, equations and so on. Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, geometry or algorithms; it is about understanding. Make numbers interesting not boring. If our basics of maths (i.e. addition, subtraction, division, multiplication) are clear we build our maths building successfully. So, in next blog we start with pillars of mathematics that is basic concepts of mathematics.
